Amazing family cabin inside Yosemite!
by Lynda D on 06/04/2017   Just finished a week at this cabin with two adults and three young adults ages 13-23.  First, do not underestimate how wonderful it is to stay inside Yosemite. Over the holiday weekend it took visitors an hour+ just to get into the park, then another 45 minute drive to the valley.  During the week it was a 30-minute wait. Not for us :) We woke up, had time to shower, enjoy coffee on the deck, cook breakfast and then head 30 minutes north to the valley all with very little traffic/hassle. As far as the cabin, here is what I would want to know: Beds - comfortable king bed, interior bedroom has a queen bed which was also comfy. The sofa bed in the back room was surprisingly comfortable for a 6-foot 23 year-old, as the mattress is a high quality tempurpedic type foam! The twin bed was for the 13 year-old, and he reported it was comfortable. Kitchen - so great to have a full kitchen! Plenty of dishes, utensils, etc. Don't forget to bring or buy some paper towels! Supplies - good towels, you can always get more from the office. Plenty of soaps/dish soaps. Space - we were SO HAPPY we did not get hotel rooms, we had tons of space, with a large kitchen/dining table to play cards/games, room to spread out, ad a huge wrap around deck with granite boulders built right in. Added plus - WASHER AND DRYER. Loved it. Very clean and comfy cabin. Surroundings - this cabin is near the end of a road, with a couple of cabins fairly close, but nothing behind and we heard nobody else the entire week. We even had a bunch of hazard tree removal crews working near the cabin one day, and we enjoyed so much watching them work... but when we would go back in the cabin it was like they weren't there. So many wonderful things about this cabin and community - right at the back of the neighborhood there is a hike up a waterfall that was amazing... you get drenched from the spray and its gorgeous (assuming you're there when there is sufficient water). This is an IDEAL cabin for a family vacation. Date of stay: May 2017

Joy and relaxtion!    

by James on 12/14/2016  This is our second trip to your beautiful cabin. The eight of us enjoyed our time of relaxation and rest. As college students, it was much needed! Your cabin is amazing, and we found rest and peace here as soon as we walked though the door. There was a little snow on the ground, we tried to make a snowman, it was so much fun. The cabin has everything needed to cook meals and we loved the slat room with the wood burning stove to keep us warm. Thank you! Date of stay: December 2016

Last days of summer!

This was my parents first time to Yosemite and they were in awe! We spent lots of quality time by the fireplace, outside grilling and our son enjoyed exploring by the stream. What a beautiful Place

We loved sitting around the wood burner stove in the back room just talking about our day of hiking and site seeing. The kitchen was wonderful and we enjoyed every meals together. The kitchen was well stocked, the large kitchen table was useful not only for meals but also for playing games and working on jig saw puzzles. The cabin has many books, games and puzzles. We never even turned the TV on. Only Verizon had service but there is a phone in cabin with free long distance calling. Everything seemed to have been thought through for the visitors to this wonderful cabin. Even the wildlife greeted us daily!! If you want to get off the grid and just enjoy "being", this is definitely the place for you!

Versatile Cabin By A Creek!

The Perfect Home Base!

Shopping at the Pine Tree Market, sitting on the porch, observing glimpses of a meteor shower and watching nature all around us. Couples Get-a-Way

The front desk staff was able to give us some friendly suggestions of where to visit inside the park & we couldn't believe how beautiful everything is here. Peaceful Setting

Our family really enjoyed "unplugging" at night and playing the board games so gracious provided inside the cabin. Wonderful Cabin

We really enjoyed the location & all that Wawona has to offer. As always, the front desk staff was very helpful and friendly and the cabin was clean & very well stocked. Our grandkids had a ball searching for all the bears on the bear map and were thrilled to win a prize when finished. We cannot wait for our trip next year. Date of Stay: October 2014
